I’ve been raising Suri and Huacaya alpacas since 2008, always focused on producing top-quality fiber. Along the way, my love for animals has grown to include horses, laying hens, and meat birds. I care for all of them with the same dedication and affection, making sure they live their very best lives!
My fiber arts journey
Working with fibers is such a joy for me—it’s a hands-on adventure from start to finish! Whether it’s shearing, spinning, dyeing, knitting, weaving, or even just picking out beautiful yarn, I love every step of the process. There’s something magical about celebrating the beauty of both natural and synthetic fibers and turning them into one-of-a-kind creations.
Gardening the natural way
I like to call myself a “natural” organic gardener—not because it’s trendy, but simply because I’ve never used chemicals on my plants. Growing things this way just feels right. I also love canning and dehydrating the garden’s bounty (or treasures from the market), and there’s nothing better than simple, heartfelt cooking and baking—it’s a kind of joy that never gets old.
